Our Gala is known for being a joyous community event. It starts with a sold out VIP reception of 125 people that includes our community's top business leaders, service providers, school personnel, and elected officials at the local, state and federal level. We also have our online auction that begins 2 weeks prior to the event and includes a couple of hundred folks who participate in the online auction from all over the country. The auction itself culminates at the Feb. 2 event. At the event we also have the main performance of 800 - 1,000 attendees listening to some of our youth sharing their stories of coming out or trying to survive middle and high school as marginalized youth. Then our amazing performers including Singer/Songwriter Feminist Lesbian icon Cris Williamson, and the funny, philosophical, original band, The Righteous Mothers. Along with Queer, Trans, Latinix comedian El Sanchez who uses humor to question social norms and roast bigotry in all its forms.
