I've lived in the South Sound his entire life. Grew up in Centralia, and got into radio at 14 years of age after successfully harassing the local DJs at my hometown country station to give him a job. They finally relented, and I have been a part of country radio in the South Sound ever since.

Nat calls himself a "refined redneck" -- although the "refined" portion is often debated, is a self-admitted "radio geek" (a highly technical term), and true country music fan. He's also been known to play the country fiddle -- but only if you ask him just nicely, and ply him with numerous tasty beverages of his choosing.

  • As a businessman working in Seattle, I traveled the I-5 corridor between Seattle and Portland many times. When southbound from Seattle, I looked forward to driving through the Olympia area because it was such a pleasant and scenic part of the trip.
