NEW YORK - A recent study revealed that the annual carbon emissions of the 12 wealthiest individuals, including Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos, are equivalent to the emissions produced by two million average homes.
The study, focusing on the travel patterns of these billionaires, such as frequent yacht voyages and private jet trips, calculated their combined carbon footprint to be approximately 17 million tons. This amount, which encompasses emissions from some of their investment companies, is sufficient to power all homes in cities like Phoenix or Philadelphia.
