Conflict Resolution Month / Volunteer Needs & Opportunities

    October is Conflict Resolution Month.

You can help resolve conflict, promote civility and create peace in your community as a volunteer with the Dispute Resolution Center of Thurston County.

The DRC is a community-based, volunteer-powered non-profit organization dedicated to conflict resolution and prevention in the South Sound.

Become trained as a mediator and work directly with people in conflict - online or in-person – or help people over the phone through the DRC’s Resource Line.

To learn more about volunteer opportunities and upcoming trainings, contact the Dispute Resolution Center or visit MediateThurston.org.

The Dispute Resolution Center of Thurston County empowers people to resolve their disputes by providing conflict resolution services and training community members in those skills.

We envision a South Sound community that has and uses healthy and respectful conflict resolution skills.
