Join 1984 Women's Olympic Marathon Gold Medalist Joan Benoit Samuelson; 1984 Women's Olympic Marathon Team member, Julie Brown; 1972 Men's Olympic Marathon Gold Medalist Frank Shorter; Sister Marion Irvine (the oldest woman to compete in the 1984 Women's Marathon Trials); and close to 60 (and counting!) of the women who competed in those first Historic Women's Olympic Marathon Trials here in Olympia on May 12, 1984.
