Aberdeen Founders' Day Parade and Festival

Founders' Day was a lost tradition until it was revived back in 2014 by a group called RehAberdeen. This year they have passed the honor or creating the celebration to Beyond Grays Harbor, a non profit that is geared towards helping youth grow and expand their horizons through financial assistance and advocating. There will be a parade led, as Grand Marshals, by direct descendants of Sam Benn, and street festival with live music, vendors and food. A group called Friends of the Museum will have a display of photos depicting the rich history of Aberdeen through the years. The parade is at 11 a.m. and the festival will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
