The Downtown Tacoma Blues Festival brings three days of blues, soul and live music to Broadway and Hotel Murano, August 14–16. The free festival features nationally recognized headliners, Northwest favorites and late-night afterparties throughout downtown Tacoma.

Friday, August 14, 5–9 p.m. | Tacoma Centre, 1145 Broadway: Pre-Funk Friday features Mark DuFresne and David Kosins, Terry Hanck and Kid Andersen, the Joel Astley Band, and Alvon Johnson with Ben Rice and Derrick D’Mar Martin. Beer and wine will be available for purchase, and the evening continues with an afterparty featuring the T-Town Aces at Hotel Murano.
Saturday, August 15, noon–7 p.m. | Broadway between 11th and 13th streets: Two outdoor stages will feature headliners Vanessa Collier, Rick Estrin & The Nightcats, and Tommy Castro & The Painkillers, plus a full lineup of blues, soul and roots performers. An afterparty at Hotel Murano follows with Mark Hurwitz & Gin Creek featuring Tanya Hodel.
Sunday, August 16 | Hotel Murano: Soul Sunday closes the weekend with Darelle Holden, the James Lee Murray Band, and Marcel Smith and Lisa Andersen with Kid Andersen, followed by an all-star invitational jam.
All events are free and open to the public. VIP passes are sold out.
