The City of Lacey’s beloved annual event, Children’s Day, returns on October 3, 2026, at Huntamer Park from 11am to 2pm. It’s a free family event with plenty of magic for kids of all ages, and parents too! This years theme is "Celebrate the Magic of Mythical Creatures."

Your child can go on a Mythical Quest Obstacle Course bounce house; dance with the fae folk in the Fairy Dance Party dance dome; and conquer the dragon at the Dragon Descent, a 24-foot dual slide. And don't forget all the crafting! Remember, admission and all the activities are free.
Food trucks and vendors will be there, in addition to the Kids Market. Young crafters will sell their wares at this market for kids by kids.
