Founded in 1984, RMEF is one of the largest conservation organization in the US with over 225,000 members nationwide and nearly 13,000 here in Washington. Over the past four decades RMEF and its partners have invested more than $134 million in Washington conservation efforts, improving or protecting over 514,000 acres of wildlife habitat and securing or enhancing public access to more than 130,000 acres for hunting, fishing, hiking and other outdoor recreation. We raise funds locally through big game banquets which include auctions, raffles and games. Beyond habitat work RMEF collaborates with state and federal agencies, universities, and conservation partners to advance wildlife research, youth education, and community outreach programs. Together we are building a stronger future for a wildlife and the people who value the outdoors.
