Pinkathon: A 5K for Oakley Carlson

Pinkathon is a family oriented, pink themed 5K in honor of Oakley Carlson. On her 5th birthday in 2021, Oakley was officially declared missing from Oakville, Washington, and her case remains unsolved. In partnership with Light The Way Missing Persons Advocacy Project to continually advocate for Oakley and her case, bring awareness of her case to more people, and raise money for the reward fund and investigation into her disappearance, Miss Thurston County’s Teen Emma Adams created Pinkathon! Inspired by Oakley’s favorite color, patrons are encouraged to wear their best pink and participate in this charity walk/run (with kids’ fun run!) at the Washington State Capitol lawn on March 16th at 9:00am.
