Travis Kelce Dismisses Retirement Speculation Ahead of Super Bowl

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is shutting down speculation that this year’s Super Bowl could be his final game in the NFL.

Kelce, who has spent his entire 12-season career with the Chiefs since being drafted in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, addressed the rumors during a pre-game press event.

“My heart belongs to football,” Kelce said, adding that he has been prioritizing his health.

With no definitive retirement plans in sight, the star tight end appears focused on the game ahead rather than the end of his career.
